Michael “Mikey Life” Monteiro, founder of Abstrakt Music, & The Abstrakt Lab, is an artist, producer, Manager, DJ, engineer, and entrepreneur from New Bedford, MA, Who recently relocated back from Los Angeles, CA after 18 years.
throughout his 30+ Years in the music and entertainment business, he’s worked and toured the world with today’s biggest artists and performers from J-Lo, & John Mayer, to jamie foxx & Beyonce’, and has produced and recorded music for himself & his fellow New Bedford artists and musicians since opening Abstrakt Entertainment in downtown NB in 2003.
His passion for music, business, and his love for his community is what has brought Mikey back to New Bedford, Determined to make positive change, and we look forward to this next chapter of his story!
